For those of you who are interested in surrogacy we have invited one of our MRKH Australia board members, Simone, to talk about her experiences being a surrogate.

Simone has been a surrogate twice and is an active member of the surrogacy community in Australia. What an amazing opportunity to be able to talk to someone on the other side of this experience.

Our monthly peer support groups are primarily about us being able to connect with each other in a safe place to share our own personal stories and experiences, after all we are the biggest experts on MRKH. It is not necessarily the place for other expertise, but Simone’s story is unique and provides us with a great opportunity to know more about the journey of surrogacy. Given the many discussions and questions that have been raised about surrogacy, we thought it would be well worthwhile to have a breakout room and invite Simone to share her story and be available for participants of the session to talk with her.

For those wanting to use the session to catch up and talk about other things we will also have the usual safe space for this, in a separate break out room.

Finally, Simone will also be attending our MRKH Conference in Melbourne on Saturday 25 June. If you have not marked this one in your diaries, do it now!
